Paranoia

Stop and Frisk? What a society we have started to become. This is an incredible digression of social rights and the constitution of The United Sates. Pretty soon we will be required to wear our papers on our sleeves. Does this sound familiar? Has this happened in the past, elsewhere?

If your mot scared or worried you should be. Profiling of people living within the United States is very bad. But where does asking to prove who you are start or end. Who has the right to ask you or me to show an ID without cause? Why do they have that right? Does this keep our society in line and safe? It does not seem to. The police gain power by using fear tactics that are meant to separate people and keep the populous under control and in line. at what point are we then not allowed to freely meet with other people either in discussion or a social setting?

Paranoia and fear have taken a hold. Our citizenry has decided that it is OK to be stopped and questioned by a militaristic police force that does not even follow their own ethics or the laws they are sworn to uphold and protect. Maybe we should put the militaristic police forces in a more appropriate uniform, such as a red coat.  It is easy now for police forces nation wide to ask you for your papers. If they do not like you or your response they arrest you for disorderly conduct. They take you to their holding facility and remove your humanity by strip searching you.

Is this the society we wish to live in? Is this Constitutional? Is this right? The claim is that it is for the good of the population. The claim is that they do this without profiling and only when someone is suspicious. Where does it start or stop? Who is the judge of suspicion, our corrupt police forces who are unable to follow the same laws as they are sworn to protect?

Stop and Frisk is unacceptable. Where does it stop? Who is the judge? Governmental control and police force are now totally out of Constitutional control.
